Pioneer Football News
Future Pioneers At Camp
On Tuesday, many kids from around Stillwater came out to participate in the
2012 Pioneer Youth Football Camp.
This camp is every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until noon for three weeks. Camp is
open to kids in grades first through seventh. If a child missed the first week of
camp, he is welcome to come and participate in the following weeks. Coach
Barnard and his players would love to see as many kids as possible out there.
At the camp, kids can work on any position while being coached by current SHS
players and coaches. On Tuesday, the kids worked on all parts of their game
from passing, tackling and punting.
Coach Cawood, the offensive line coach for the Pioneers, said, "The best part of
camp is seeing kids have fun and enjoy football. It's important to learn the
aspects of the game, but most of all they need to have fun and enjoy it."
So remember parents, bring your kids out to Stillwater Football Youth camps
Tuesdays from 10 to noon so they can learn and enjoy football. To see pictures
